    Loved every piece of this kit. The chocolate was my FAVORITE. Super yummy. That tart-tangy mushroom flavor in combination with the dark chocolate is amazing. Me and my husband each tried 1 piece our first time and didn’t feel much. So we split the rest of the bar the next night and had this fantastic buzz that led into some deep sleep.

    Awesome kit! I also appreciate the cute little sticker you included. I noticed the capsules made me feel a bit more spacey whereas the chocolate made me sleepier? But this seems to lineup with the information on the Amanita dosing page. You should make more cool kits of different combinations please

    You have to try this mushroom! Holy cow. I tried one of those Amanita gummies from my local headshop a couple years ago and had the WORST experience. I felt just generally ill, spinny, and kinda trippy but not in a good way. I’ll be honest I wrote off amanita after that unitl I saw one of your companies ads. Thank you for breaking the stigma around this amanzing plant medicine!

    TBH I thought I was going to use Amanita mostly for sleep and relaxation…. but I’ve found myself using it more during the day now. I like 1-2 of the 500mg capsules during the day to get in a flow state. I tried the gummies for sleep and it was okay but there was a couple times when it made me a little too groggy the next day. I see not everyone here reports that, but thats just my honest experience. I find that I don’t really feel like taking the Amanita every day though. It’s more like 2-3 times a week. Cool mushroom. Cool company. Got my order to me fast with some cool extras. Will order again!

How to Use the Amanita Starter Kit

A first-timer’s guide

Suggested starting place

Start Simple, Start Low

If this is your first time exploring Amanita, we recommend beginning with the prepared products in the kit — the capsules or the chocolate.

These options are:

  • Carefully portioned

  • Easy to use

  • Consistent from dose to dose

Suggested starting point

  • 1–3 capsules or

  • 1–3 pieces of chocolate

These are intentionally conservative starting ranges. Everyone responds differently, and Amanita can feel subtle at first.

If You Don’t Feel Much — That’s Normal

Many people don’t feel strong effects on their first experience. This doesn’t mean it “didn’t work.”

Amanita often rewards patience and gradual exploration.

If you took:

  • 2 capsules and felt little or nothing → try 4–5 next time

  • 1–2 pieces of chocolate with minimal effect → gently increase next session

There’s no rush. The goal is to learn how your body responds.

Exploring Microdoses (Day & Evening)

A lot of people enjoy Amanita in low, functional amounts.

You may want to experiment with:

  • Daytime microdoses to see how it fits into your normal routine

  • Afternoon or evening microdoses to explore a more relaxed or dreamy feel

About Decarboxylation (Why Preparation Matters)

Raw Amanita contains both ibotenic acid and muscimol.

When Amanita is prepared using heat and acidity (for example, a hot water extraction with lemon), some of the ibotenic acid converts into muscimol.

Many people describe this as:

  • Less stimulating

  • More relaxing

  • More dreamy or sleep-oriented

This is why teas made from the caps can feel different from capsules or powders.

Chocolate vs Capsules — What’s the Difference?

What is Amanita Muscaria? Is it a magic mushroom?

If you’ve ever read a children’s book or played a video game, chances are you’ve seen the iconic red and white spotted Amanita Muscaria mushroom. The mushroom’s name may not be as prolific as its image but its proper name is Amanita Muscaria. More than a symbol of a popular video game, Amanita Muscaria has a wide range of benefits that include reduction of anxiety and stress and may even have anticonvulsant properties.

Amanita Muscaria does produce psychoactive effects thanks to its three main alkaloids: muscimol, ibotenic acid and muscarine. Muscimol has activity in your gaba receptors and can produce a relaxing and sedative effect. Ibotenic Acid is more glutaminergic and leads to an energized and focused mood. Muscarine interacts directly with our muscarinic acetylcholine receptors making it a potent nootropic, or a cognitive enhancer that can improve memory, concentration and alertness.

With all of these alkaloids found in one mushroom, it’s easy to notice an entourage effect taking place. At lower doses amanita can help people with anxiety and sleep. At medium to high doses Amanita can be dissociative, introspective, and even confusing or scary. Typically, people who take higher doses end up in a heavy slumber. Once asleep, many go into an extremely vivid dream state. While not the case for everyone, it is a common side effect of Amanita Muscaria.

 Amanita Muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric mushroom, is traditionally used for its sedating,sleep enhancing, adaptogenic, and spiritual properties. It has a historical use in shamanic and spiritual practices for its psychoactive effects.

Is Amanita Muscaria safe to consume?

Amanita Muscaria contains compounds that can be psychoactive, which means it should be used cautiously. Proper preparation and dosage are crucial as it contains ibotenic acid. Small doses of Ibotenic seem generally tolerable by most but large doses can make a lot of people sick. Most people who want to take a medium to large dose of Amanita decarb their Amanita prior to use or buy a decarbed product. Always consult with a healthcare provider before use.

What does it mean to decarb Amanita Muscaria?
